Jennifer Clark Colfer graduated received a Bachelors of Science degree in
Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Davis where she was
awarded for excellence in the study of Landscape Architecture from the
American Society of Landscape Architects. Since graduating she has had the
opportunity to work for several Landscape Architecture firms in Northern
California. She has worked with Michael Arnone + Associates for the past 10
years. Her favorite aspect of practicing landscape architecture is the
possibility to unite people with nature through thoughtfully designed outdoor
spaces.
Michael Arnone graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York
at Syracuse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies,
with emphasis in Landscape Architecture. He also holds a Bachelor of
Science in Forestry from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. Michael
has practiced Landscape Architecture in Northern California since 1986. He
is an adjunct faculty member at Cabrillo College in Aptos where he has
taught Landscape Design classes in the Horticulture Department since 1997.
He also served on the Architecture and Site Review Committee for the City of
Capitola for ten years. When he is not practicing or teaching Landscape
Architecture he can be seen mountain biking the trails in The Forest of
Nisene Marks, on the softball field as both a player and a coach,
moonlighting as a drummer, and organizing the music for the Capitola Art
and Wine festival.
